Hi, my name is Jake “The Posterior Guy”, a locally based Las Vegas trainer, and I am here to take your health and fitness goals seriously. Personally, I understand that losing weight and gaining muscle can be challenging, and my goal is to help you overcome the challenges and reach your goals. With that being said I will not be there to waste your time or money, but what I ask for in return is you give 100 % commitment along with consistency. With experience not only being a NASM certified trainer,  but also in bodybuilding, I am capable of analyzing your fitness and nutrition needs in order to create and support the best training program possible.

I have been a certified personal trainer for for 5 years with 2 prior years experience at Lifetime Fitness (Summerlin) and now 1 year independently holding the following credentials:

-NASM CPT Certified (National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer)

-Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Certified

-Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management

-3 Years of Bodybuilding Experience

I strive to work with everyone located not only in Las Vegas (Summerlin/Henderson), but worldwide, no matter what your goal is! I  have worked with many clients with many different goals. I work with weight loss, endurance, strength, and muscle building clients but I specialize in posterior work, meaning clients who have bad posture or back pain.

All in-person training sessions are 1 hour long including a proper warm-up and are 100% customized to you and your personal goals. In-person training also includes full nutritional and supplementation support as well! Progress will be checked weekly or bi-weekly with a scale check as well as measurements to ensure progress is being made.

I am priced affordably and provide payment plans with all my services because this is my passion and I want to help you achieve your goals and go further than that! I do not want to waste your time nor money so what I expect from all clients is 100% commitment along with consistency. I firmly believe consistency is the most important thing to achieve any fitness goal.

As a Las Vegas trainer, I train clients inside of Bodysport Performance Training a private gym located in Las Vegas near Lake Mead and the 95. You do not need a gym membership here to train with me, however a yearly $49 gym registration fee is required by the gym. It is a fully equipped gym with cardio equipment, machines, free weights and squat racks and much more! Anyone located in Summerlin or Henderson are welcome. 

Don’t have time to travel to a trainer or don’t need someone there to instruct you but rather take stress off of you figuring out you workout and diet plan? Look no further! I myself have never used a trainer in-person even while bodybuilding but having the pressure of figuring out the little things taken off me made a huge difference! Through my online coaching I will still hold you accountable and push you with weekly custom written workouts based on your gym experience and personal goals. I will keep track off all sets, reps and weights used week to week so you don’t have to. In addition, I will send you custom macronutrient guidelines or a meal plan based on your body and goals to follow for your diet and adjust them as needed. I will also send these guidelines a week at a time so you can stay ahead.

Check-ins will be offered weekly or bi-weekly via Facetime or through text message. I will want to see you physically to see how your body is responding and also get updates from you on what the scale is doing.

FAQs


What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I use a complimentary consultation to find out everything about them from their goals, to what their diet is exactly like.

From there and after finding out what level of knowledge they have working out, I create a plan and all workouts are tailored to their goals, body type, level of fitness and I aim to not only help them get results but to teach them so we can incorporate new movement's to learn


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

-I am a certified National Academy of Sports Medicine personal trainer

-I have experience bodybuilding which has taught me a lot outside of just personal training certifications


Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

You can visit my website for all pricing, I offer packages of 6 training sessions all the way up to 20 sessions, the more you buy the cheaper per session price becomes.

I also offer flexible payment plans, essentially as long as you pay in full by the last session of your package


How did you get started teaching?

I once did not know what I was doing having my first gym membership, I would search the internet for hours trying to figure how I was going to workout, and how I could gain weight as I was really skinny. After a lot of self teaching and learning from others it made me passionate to help those that may be where I started.


What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with clients with weight loss goals, building lean muscle building, and even getting in shape to pass the police academy fitness test. I work with everyone with any goal!


Describe a recent event you are fond of.

My last bodybuilding show on June 22, 2019. It was 12 weeks of dedication and I did not place well, instead of being mad or upset I decided to use it as motivation to be better next time


What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

No matter what your goal is, understand any goal in the fitness industry is always a process. Understand even with the right tools you may not see results right away, or if you do it may eventually come to a halt, but I do weekly or bi-weekly check-ins with a scale weight and measurements, if results are not coming I make proper adjustments.
