Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Firstly I setup a complimentary initial consultation to get your background history, things such as your goals, what your diet is like, what your ideal training schedule would be to build not only the right training program for you but a custom nutritional plan as well just for you. Once we establish all of those details and get a training schedule setup I will assess your goals weekly to make sure we are going in the right direction. I measure goals via scale weight, body measurements and also track your sets, reps, and weights used to ensure those progressively increase as well. I not only want to be your professional friend in the gym but outside as well and love for clients to text or call with any questions especially nutritional ones. I make sure no cracks are visible in my plan to help you crush your goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am NASM certified and I also have competed in the sport of bodybuilding for 4 years now.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I’m priced competitively and affordably while also offering 100% nutritional support as well! Prices vary as I offer a 12 and 16 pack of sessions pending if you choose 3 or 4 sessions weekly.
How did you get started teaching?
The first time I ever had a gym membership was also when I worked at the same gym. I began as someone not knowing much and would research the internet endlessly to help me achieve my goals. I came to find asking professional trainers I worked with would help me increase my knowledge quickest as anyone can put anything on the internet. Over time of growing and learning I became very passionate with fitness and decided I wanted to start helping others who may be in the beginner position I was and who just needed someone for guidance.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of clients from weight loss, muscle/strength building, and body recomposition clients. Whether you are a beginner or a gym junkie I will help you achieve the results you want!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My client had a extreme eating disorder and when she came to me she was certainly not eating enough at 800 calories. I convinced her to eat more although to her it scared her. It took about 2 months to get her confidence going with it and solely tracking calories at the time, but after the 2 months she overcame the fear and she even following her macronutrients to ensure even better results.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
To not only search for someone who fits your budget but who also has experience in helping others reach the goal(s) that you want too. Research their websites, social media and get to know them and their philosophy before hiring them.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
With whatever goal it may be ask the professional what time frame they think the goal could be accomplished in. I would also ask the processes and procedures they would apply to help achieve the goals.
