I have been a kindergarten teacher for the last 5 years and at my current school since 2013. I previously taught second grade .I am knowledgeable, dependable and enthusiastic about educating our youth .
Teaching might be the most rewarding job there is. I enjoy seeing the excitement of students engaged in a lesson and excited about learning something new!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student , it is important to find out their interests ,strengths /weaknesses and likes/ dislikes! This creates a connection between us , as well as a way for the student to feel
comfortable with me! By learning their strengths, it helps me to use enhancemen strategies to engage them. Learning what areas they may need more help in , guides me to find strategies to bring their level of understanding to a higher level and help them progress!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a classroom teacher , between kindergarten and third grade, for the last 8 years . I have a Bachelors Degree , as well as a Masters Degree , in Elementary Education .
