I have been teaching sewing, quilting and knitting since 1997. I own a longarm quilting machine. I love doing art quilts as well as traditional quilts. Have taught many first time sewers to advance to quilt makers.

First to find out which level the student are at and work from that stage to be able to improve.

Art college in Sweden. Numerous classes through the years.
65 years of knitting and 60 years of sewing, quilting and fabric dying and painting.

$20.00/hour for private lessons in all categories of teaching in my home,
$5.00 for use of my sewing machine in my home.

How did you get started teaching?
I started to teach because I love what I do and wanted to share my knowledge.
What types of students have you worked with?
i have worked with students from having no knowledge of the class to very experienced. Ages from 7 to 86.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love traveling to the Big Quilt shows and get inspired of all the wonderful quilts.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It’s a very personal interaction so schedule a visit and take a look at their work.
