About
Karen began her career in fitness over 20 years ago with the goal of helping people achieve their personal best whether it be in yoga, pilates, barre, running, nutrition or personal training. Karen’s teaching style is intuitive and nourishes the hidden strengths of her students while challenging them to reach beyond their perceived limitations. She has owned and started several personal training, yoga and pilates businesses in Washington DC and throughout Albany’s capitol district.
She has a degree in Biology and Biological Anthropology from University @ Albany. Has received the following certifications; Power Pilates apparatuns & mat cert in 2006, Barre Method 2011, 200 RYT in 2012.
Karen continues to educate herself in all areas of yoga and fitness to provide clients with the latest techniques and innovative ideas to improve their fitness and health in all facets possible.
