About
I don't just toss ingredients together in a pan and call that teaching you. I make time to explain everything I'm doing and why. I also make time for questions. I am patient and easy to follow, and I move at the learning pace and confidence level of the class/participant.
I have studied over 100 dietary practices so I can ALSO help you discover your personal eating blueprint. I focus on eating for the client's welbeing, which is the reason why my clients are so successful and my classes are so popular.
I enjoy watching home cooks as they evolve through my teaching, creating and recreating recipes themselves and giving each dish their own special touch.
Mission accomplished!

How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching show home cooks how to create nourishing meals since 2015. I have seen firsthand what kitchen confidence can do when stress, overwhelm and confusion is removed.
Understanding the impact that home cooks can make on their family's health, has kept my classes consistently full.
What types of students have you worked with?
*Teenagers (group event)
*Adults (singles, couples)
*Retirees (group event)
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was forced to transition from in person to online in 2020. Now I have both a national and international audience. My newest affiliation is with "Women on the Rise" a wonderful women's group in Sydney, Australia designed to help empower women. I'm delighted to be conducting cooking classes to these women.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
DYOR. Do your own research.
If you are looking to learn ONLY how to cook a meal that's palatable, then ANY teacher would do. But if you are trying to improve your health, lose weight or lower your risk factors for certain health challenges then it's best to choose a cooking coach/chef who is trained in nutrition and has a track record to guide you in that direction. I am trained in nutrition and I focus on creating meals that are nourishing to the body.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
*What are your reasons for wanting these lessons? (health reasons or just as a hobby)
*If additional equipment/appliances would be needed for the classes in question.
*What are YOUR and THEIR non negotiables?
