About this pro

boneseed is a healing modality focused on deep excavation, alignment, evolution and expansion of the Self through archetypal imagery (tarot and animal cards), asana (yoga postures), self-touch, self-pleasure, sensual connection and awakening, meditation, discussion and creative reflection (through journaling and other forms of expression). I believe in sex positivity, embracing difference, raw truth telling and finding the joy and fun, even in the darkest places.

alessandra is an intuitive and empathic healing facilitator, teacher, writer and performer based in Brooklyn, NY. She has studied tarot under the tutelage of the wondrous Lindsay Mack, and furthered her intuitive gifts through research, meditative and journaling practices. A student since age 12, she completed her yoga teacher training at Yoga Shanti, and completed specialized training on Yoga for the Pelvic Floor with Leslie Howard and Energy and the Subtle Body with Justine Ritchie whom she is currently continuing her study in a mentorship capacity.

She offers one on one and group work that incorporate tarot archetypes, meditation and yoga to help clients reconnect with their bodies, intuition and power, through her discovery and healing practice, boneseed. At the forefront of every session is a commitment to sex and body positivity,  shadow examination and a mix of fun and no nonsense. She will never say things like "love and light" or "find your bliss" so if that's not your thing, rejoice ;)

A student and performer at the Magnet Theater, Alessandra has performed as an improvisor, storyteller, essayist and, most recently, host for her very own variety show Sex Magic. She also writes poetry and is currently giving her spare life blood to a novel about witches.

Alessandra is a wonderful yoga instructor - her classes are smooth and varied and her verbal guidance is clear and instructive. She is also funny, fun and empathetic. Enjoy!

Everybody needs someone in their life who they can go to for guidance and support. For some that’s a relative, a friend, a mentor, or a spiritual leader. It’s a rare gift to find someone who posses the best qualities of all those figures. Alessandra is one such person to me. She is brimming with compassion and positivity, but also isn’t scared to delve into darker subjects. Alessandra calls me on my shit, but takes me seriously and challenges me to have that same respect for myself. I consider her to be a great friend, an emotional sounding board, and a loving, healing yoga-mom. I couldn’t recommend her more.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I like to set up an intro call to see if we're a good match. My first session with a student includes getting to know one another and testing out exercises and learning styles and develop a curriculum from there.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

200 HR Training @ Yoga Shanti

50 HR Adv Training @ Laughing Lotus (Chakra System)

Pelvic Floor Yoga Certification (Leslie Howard)

300 HR Adv Training (in process)
