About
My passion and experience will help you reach your goals, regardless of background or experience. I believe that moving better through your body empowers you to move better through the world. It's about YOUR life, and my program will help YOU live as fully as you can.
I am a certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Specialist, and Orthopedic Specialist with the American Council on Exercise, as well as a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher wil the Yoga Alliance. With more than six years of experience, I specialize in strength training, weight loss, meal planning and nutrition, weightlifting, dance, yoga, injury prevention and rehabilitation, and pre and post natal training. With this experience I am confident I can customize a program specific to your goals and help you reach them.
I love working with individuals and truly seeing their lives change. It's an amazing, unique journey for everyone that I am always honored to be a part of. I went through my own fitness journey as well: after being a lifelong dancer, I put on about 50 pounds and was out of shape for years. By working with a trainer I was able to get my life back on track, and it was the best choice I ever made for myself. I love being able to give that back to others.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always start training a new client by doing an overall assessment of their current health, setting goals and intentions for training, and encouraging them to take current pictures and measurements so they can tangibly track their progress. From there we discuss meal plans, how much they should be eating and what kinds of food to eat when. On days we are not training together, I send do-it-yourself workouts to do at home or in the gym to continue their progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Specialist, and Orthopedic Specialist with the American Council on Exercise, a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance, and CPR certified. I also have specialities in pre and post natal training, kettlebells and TRX, and extensive dance training.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching after years of personal training. I had a regular yoga practice at a studio which led me to become certified myself, and that's where I grew to love teaching. I love training one-on-one, but am passionate about being able to reach more people at once in a group class.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with clients ranging from 17-75, elite college athletes, complete beginners, those with serious injuries (herniated discs, atrophied muscles, muscle tears, etc), pre and post natal women, those seeking to build strength and muscle, and those focused on losing weight.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I advise everyone to choose a teacher whose wellness philosophy resonates with them, who is knowledgeable of your injuries and knows how to work around them, and who you feel you can trust with you journey.
