I’m a Music Education major at Buffalo State University. Currently transitioning to my third year, I have gained multitudes of experience with providing private instruction to young students; I can also work with older students. My passion for music has been longstanding, I began learning the violin at age 9, and guitar at age 12. With multiple years of experience at each instrument, I provide quality lessons that are tailored to each individual. I am always open to learn more from each experience, and cannot wait to teach each student on their musical journey!

Musicians Performance Academy is owned by Max Kilijanski, a Colombian born, Buffalo NY raised multi-instrumentalist who has been teaching music since 2013. Max has a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production with a minor in Music and Society- Global Studies from Berklee College of Music (2020). Hi. We are teachers of Royal Music Academy located in Williamsville and East Amherst. We teach kids from age 4-adults at the studio and at your home. We charge $30 per lesson ( 30 mins). Our students perform on Carnegie stage in NY, Albert Hall in London, and many other local and International competitions and concerts. We teach on English and on Russian languages. I teach traditional percussion, drum set, and mallet percussion. I specialize in hand drumming, particularly frame drums, doumbek, and other middle eastern percussion instruments. There's a big world out there full of drums and rhythms that I have enjoyed exploring for over 50 years. It is an honor for me to help other musicians along their own path.
