My hope is to bring yoga to anyone, including those who may be intimidated to try it. Anyone is a yogi so long as they can sit with their breath. There are health coachingno special skills needed, and you don’t need to be flexible. You get flexible by practicing consistently. I love to see how yoga changes people. It changes us from the moment we roll out our mat to the moment we leave the studio, and it changes us on a larger scale with each passing month, year, and decade.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to ask aboutill often use an eclectic mix of gentle movement, energizing poses, deep stretches and restorative towards the end. a student’s experience, if any, with yoga first. Then discuss any injuries or areas of the body Ddthat need special attention. From there we can determine which type of yoga is best to start with.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a 200 hour yoga teacher working towards a 500 hour certification. I also have a masters in mental health counseling and have worked for years as a life coach for special needs individuals. I also cook and teach people to cook. I have an understanding of nutrition from my studies with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
