Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, it is important to have an idea of the level of the student and what his objectives are.
Playing a few games will help me assess the student's strengths and weaknesses. Then, based on the level of the student, we would go more in depth on the openings, middle game and end game. In parallel, we would work on tactics, key strategic concepts.
I am a firm believer that Chess can help a child develop and improve cognitive skills that can be used in many other areas.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained for Chess pretty much my entire life. I earned a Masters in Finance from EDHEC University in France.
