Hello, my name is Cristian. I was born in Moldova and have been playing chess since I was 7 years old, I played competitive and won a couple of turnaments. I moved to America in 2011 and continued playing chess, although not as seriously I maintained my proficiency. In highschool and part of college (6years) I worked at Kumon where I tutored kids ages 5 to 18 in Math and English with a proficiency(the kids) of grades k-12. In 2021 I worked for a company called Digs where I would go to schools and teach various sports as well as teach chess. Currently my proficiency in chess is that of a 1800 rated player. I am currently in my 46th year of coaching youth sports which includes AAU, COBA and Ohio Youth Basketball. My experience and expertise has produced players of every level including the NBA. I am passionate about working with young players and have had great success that includes many championship seasons. I am about fairness, team play and work ethics. I love swimming and love teaching others to swim. If you are fearful and unsure about swimming, I can help you overcome and enjoy the sport. I am a FINA-trained beginner coach. I swam competitively long ago and teach swimming because I love the sport.
