How did you get started teaching?
My good friend from my elementary school chess team asked if I wanted to teach after school chess. Dozens of schools and thousands of students later, here we are -- Remote Learning Chess.
What types of students have you worked with?
Students as young as 2 and as old as 83. From total beginners to experienced tournament players.

I am fond of any time Levon Aronian performs well in a major event.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the teacher is positive, engaging and not teaching from rote.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
