SPDA CLASSES

We offer school-aged children a safe, secure and fun learning environment. As an Afterschool Center, we aim to foster a learning environment that stimulates the minds and curiosities of everyone who enters through our door.

Nothing is more important in making a child feel comfortable than the presence of a caring adult. We make a conscious effort to reach out to every individual smile, to pat shoulders gently, and to use each child's name when we speak to them. Warmth and understanding make us feel cooperative. We also allow many opportunities throughout the day when children can move freely about the room, make choices, and connect with others. Too much emphasis on 'time on task' precludes these opportunities, which significantly contribute to a classroom that feels comfortable to children.

My teaching abilities have been enhanced by my associate degree in Early Childhood Education. Extremely motivated , excellent management skills, performance driven , team player and notable organizational skills geared towards providing the highest quality child care for young and school age children.Nine years of experience working specifically in this field has helped me further understand the behavior and psychology of the young minds to go along with my associate degree. I have developed a sympathetic and patient approach towards children and am very well versed in mentoring, curriculum development, planning, budgeting and logistics.

Our classes are hourly basis. We charge $15 per hour. Schedule of classes may varies according to the enrollment.
