I spent almost my whole life focused on classical ballet, attending dance camps over summer break, and doing intensive dance workshops with Martin Sonderkamp and others. After high school, I was accepted into Turkey's most prestigious conservatory, Mimar Sinan, where I expanded into contemporary dance. I simultaneously graduated from London's Royal Academy of Dance where my training included workshops in pilates, yoga, and anatomy. I have spent the last 14 years teaching classical ballet and contemporary dance to students of all ages and skill levels.

I ensure that students are taught from a personalized curriculum that brings them closer to their goals while emphasizing the music fundamentals that will prepare and enrich them for life. We teach SharQuí the Bellydance Workout® and Basic Bellydance Technique & Combos. In SharQuí, we teach fun, simple, aerobic belly dance choreographies using the add-on method which includes breakdown and repetition of each movement so everyone can learn easily. We make sure students learn proper belly dance form and technique, and keep their heart rate up for the entire hour! In Basic Bellydance we learn simple Egyptian-style combinations to Middle Eastern music, thoroughly breaking down each move with proper technique.
