Excellent training session with Coach Romarick. He teaches you the basics of boxing with ease, is patient, and knows what to look for in your technique. Being a professional boxer with years of experience provides him with a keen eye. Met him in Manhattan in a small boxing gym. Its clean, quiet, and does not suffer from overcrowding. The other members are friendly and nonjudgmental so you dont feel stupid when throwing your first punch and feel as if youre doing some improperly. Lastly, Romarick works within your budget; he truly wants to help you learn the art of boxing and doesnt overcharge you for his breadth of knowledge. You can tell he truly wants you to have fun while learning and that he loves the essence of boxing. Overall an amazing experience; I have found my new coach and a new gym to call home.
