I have many decades of performing and teaching experience, and have done so with many of the finest musicians, teachers and artists the world over (many right here in NYC!) I treat my students as unique individuals and I cater my instruction to align with your goals. Oftentimes, I can show you a path to new and greater goals, all while maintaining an even-tempered, casual and constructive learning environment, but never without the highest of standards as an ideal.

I enjoy teaching most, when the student (any age) is engaged and open to learning and taking a chance on the unknown; up for trying a new approach and openminded. I believe anyone is capable of improving through steady and mindful practice, and private lessons are the best way to make a clear and streamlined path to that improvement.
