Zander Trombone Lessons

Hello! My approach to teaching includes a collaboration of my students' interest with fundamental pedagogy. I work with my students to pinpoint their goals as well as overall motivations in music. The students' interests drive their long term lesson plans in addition to week by week structure. My passion for teaching came from the beginning of my playing career when I began helping younger students while I was in high school. I love drawing out inspiration from my students and igniting that spark to make music for others. I earned my Bachelors in Music Education where I continued on to teach in public schools across Texas, Maryland, and New York. In addition I have held a studio of private students for over 10 years. I also earned my Masters in Music from Texas Christian Univeristy and an Artist Diploma from The New School here in NYC. I believe through my playing and teaching experience I can give any student the individualized attention to suit their musical needs.
