About
I am certified in mat and reformer Pilates and vinyasa yoga. I have been teaching for 12 years. I am particular about form and alignment but also focus on breath, energy and the subtle body. I love to delve into and help with people's goals and concerns.
I love seeing the stress melt off people's bodies when we work together. I was drawn to yoga and essential oils to find balance in the hectic world we live in but I always fall back on safety, alignment and structure with Pilates practice. It is a joy to see when students get closer to homeostasis, overall body balance.

How did you get started teaching?
I have always been interested in body awareness and the connection between our emotion/psychology and our body. I began with pilates training and then teaching yoga called to me because of its spirituality and soul. Aromatherapy and yoga helped balance me so much that I learned everything I could about it (still learning) in order to teach and help individuals suffering with some sort of imbalance, emotionally, physically, spiritually....which is basically everyone.
What types of students have you worked with?
I like working with beginners and also people that are fit but need to raise more awarness as to not injure themselves(i.e. gym junkies). I will work with all levels of students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love the yoga events at the Rubin Museum. They help unite people. I also love Wanderlust festivals. Traveling all over the country to unite people with Yoga and Meditation.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Go with your gut and do what feels right for your body!
