I have been painting for over 22 years now. I strongly feel that anyone and everyone has the ability to become adept at drawing and painting. It just takes the right training and a bunch of determination. There are an infinite number of ways to access and express your creativity. I can help you get started! I have teaching experience with people of all ages. I started as a Figure Skating Instructor back in 1994 & since then have worked in elementary schools, high schools, and with adults both in the US and Finland.
I love color. I’m always looking for new & interesting color combinations and ways to use color in my work. I enjoy just about every aspect of creating paintings & drawings.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Introductory lesson:
We discuss your painting and drawing goals and I give you a few simple exercises to see what point I think you might be at, as well as how much effort might be in store for you as you move toward these goals. We get aquainted and you can decide if you want to keep taking classes with me.
