Mike's Percussion Lessons

My goal is to make every experience positive and impactful. With a Master's Degree in Performance, Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, as well as over ten years experience teaching and playing--I guarentee you will receive quality music education.

I've taught young children to adults in both private and group settings. I encourage exploration and it is my hope that students develop their own opinions about the art and music. Each student receives personalized instruction in whatever percussive goals they have.

I have had students perform in concerts, competitions, rock bands. I have also had students enjoy musical instruction for pure enjoyment or fulfillment. I am proud of my students and feel accomplished whether they ace a playing test in school or progress to the next exercise.

Each student is different and the many instruments we have access to as percussionists keeps the profession fresh and exciting.
