About
I am a former collegiate and professional baseball player who discovered the benefits, inctricacies, and necessities of holistic wellness training in fitness. I attended the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA; and played professionally for the Arizona Diamondbacks. My knowledge and application of personal training principles comes from my extensive application of them to my own body during my career. I use a combination of functional training principles, yogic Yin and Vinyasa principles through functional movement, and principles of Functional Range Conditioning And Kinstretch. My goal is to help and enable you believe, and feel, that you have the best body and mind that you’ve ever had.
My journey as a professional athlete involved my own experiences trying to synergize my mind and body to be the best that they could be on a daily basis What I enjoy about working with others is to motivate inspire and help others to understand what they personally need to do in order to feel their best and to live at their highest level

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
There is a four step process to my training system. The first is assessment, the second is learning, the third is understanding, and the fourth is self application. I believe that we cannot live at our highest level until we understand what we personally need to do mentally and physically to create happiness in our life. Our sessions will include all of these four steps of the process and my goal is that by the time we are Finished working together you will be able to replicate our training and lifestyle processes on your own.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After playing baseball in college for three years at the university of Virginia, I began a career as a professional baseball player in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization. I spent a total of six years playing professionally between the Diamondbacks and Pittsburgh pirates organizations in which I was able to learn, understand, and apply different ideas, training systems, And wellness practices that could lead to both my success on the field and my mental and emotional wellness off the field. Anything and everything that I teach has come from my own experiences working on my own body and mind, and working with the bodies and minds of others.
How did you get started teaching?
Overtime I found that I had a strong passion for helping people realize their best version of themselves just as I had taken the journey to realize the best version of myself.
What types of students have you worked with?
All.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Certification doesn’t always means knowledge and ability to relate. Application and experience allow a teacher to best understand what an individual student needs.
