I met Andrew when I was about 15 - I’m now 25 and all these years later he has been a great friend, mentor and inspiration to me as a fellow drummer. He’s a kind man, who met younger me on my level. He learned how I learned, so he could better instruct me. He saw the weaknesses in my technique, as well as the strengths. We set goals, and I progressed MUCH faster than I had when working with FOUR separate drum teachers 😂 Andrew himself is proficient in all different styles of music, and in my view, has mastered his craft. Andy is explaning subject well. We find the right sounds through practicing differnt techniques with tongue position in the mouth, as well as lips and mouth opening with particular sounds. I have a Russian accent and we work on it. The lessons are easy-going and productive. I would highly recommend Andy as an accent reduction teacher.
