D1 Defensive Line Training
About
Practice makes progression which in turn leads to success! The true joy of reaching your goal is the not the actual goal itself, but the journey you take towards that. Here at D1 , we strive to implement the fundamentals until they become second nature . From there we began to build the athlete from the ground up, adding more skills to their toolbox and making them dangerous on the field. We don't just focus on the physical aspect of what it takes to be great , but more so , we focus on the mental aspect. In any sport, 90 percent the game is mental and 10 percent is physical in my opinion. My goal is to teach my athletes how to win the game mentally so they can dominate physically. We are named D1 for a reason! We dominate our 1 on 1s and do our job and we will teach you to do the same!
Confidence is key! What makes someone confident is the certainty that they can excel at whatever task they are called to. I realized the better I prepared I was , the more confident I was ! I look to pass that same mentality to my young athletes looking to play at the next level . From high school to college to the NFL opportunity I received, preparation is key! An that will give you all the confidence in the world to dominate! It is my passion to help my athletes achieve that mindset!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, we go through a preliminary assessment. During that assessment, I talk to the athlete/parents about past history with position, what their goals are , and what have they been doing to reach that goal. From there , we review any injuries/ medical conditions the athlete may currently have or have had in the past. I also like to go over what foods the athlete are currently eating as well. From there , we go through a series of movements to see exactly where the athlete is and we start to implement a solid plan from that point on. After that it's time to go D1!
