What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Evaluate your present health and physical condition find out what their ultimate goals are and how soon they believe they can achieve them how motivated are they.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been involved in kung fu for 45 years I was the assistant international team coach 2000 2003 2006 2009 I've run my own martial art school for 25 years and have trained several national and international champions. In 2015 Mendoza Argentina I was one of the head coaches for United States National Team.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
It really depends on what you're looking to learn if you want private lessons or group lessons if you want to pay for your a year, six months upfront or month by month.
How did you get started teaching?
My mom got me involved in kung fu when I was 10 years old by the time I was 12 I knew what my goal was my instructor provide his guidance and helping me along the way.
What types of students have you worked with?
Youngsters I ever talk or actually two years old the oldest do not have a talk was 65 years old I believe anyone who really wants the lawn care everybody lerns and performs at a different level.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I also teach in a elementary school and just recently our eighth grade class graduated I have been teaching at the school for exactly 8 years so they were my first class at that particular school the martail arts team there became corporate champions five different years. They prove to themselves when they put there mind to it, it can be achieved.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would highly suggest you do your research on the person and the school to see if they are highly qualified lots of pictures or trophies does not necessarily make a good instructor. National and international certifications and tournaments with pictures are also good.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
are they serious about learning and getting in shape didn't realize a black belt or sash takes more than four years it's the journey of learning that will make you an expert. If you have an option of learning from different people learn from the best there are lots of people out there Who have studied for a few years and now claim to be teachers and claim to be teachers in multiple styles don't get taken.
