What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We will bring in the athlete to showcase our facility and get introduced to one another. Then an evaluation is performed to illustrate any mobility issues that need to be adressed. From there the journey begins based on the athletes goals.

How did you get started teaching?
I was introduced to Function Fitness in the Fire Service. From there the passion grew with every fellow firefighter attaining their goals. The next logical step was opening the business.
What types of students have you worked with?
All body types, ages, goals, competitve etc...
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Goodness, there are so many. Every day there are PR's (personal records) that put a smile on our faces. As of recent the fondess event would be one of our members performing their first pull up of their life. At 40 years old, that's AWESOME!!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Go face to face first! There has to be a connection and belief in one another nothing will work. Ask questions!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about your specific goals. Ask question revolving around those goals. The more specific the better. Have the coach give examples of how they will approach your journey. Your looking for all encompassing answers. Meaning nutrition, mindfulness, type of exercises etc. It's not a one word answer.
