Yoga Fit Boutique
About
I offer personalized yoga and fitness classes to individuals and small groups to help integrate the practice into a lifestyle that is manageable.
Yoga changed my life calming and centering me, making me a far more accepting person. It created a deep awareness for me first on the mat that then carried off the mat and into my daily life. I want to share that life changing positive experience with others. If you can breathe you can do yoga! It is not about touching your toes or standing on your head! It about the journey of the self through the self to the self! The deeper understanding!

Pricing varies on how many people per group. And if it is an ongoing client. I have a variety of ways to structure it. A basic private client is $75 per hour a semi private is $35 per person a group of ten is $8.00 pp and the rest is per discussion.
How did you get started teaching?
I fell in love with the practice and decided to deepen my knowledge through teacher training. The rest is history!
What types of students have you worked with?
students ranging from five years to 95 years. Rocket yogi's to chair yogi's and I love it all!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently watched a client who feared being upside down ( very common by the way) finally after a year over come her fear and accomplish her first headstand! I think I was as excited as she!!!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
find a class that suites your style, talk with the teacher ahead of time and be sure you like the voice ( it's no small thing), be sure he or she is accomodating, listens to your needs and desires, and find a teacher who understand safety but also can loosen up and have a little fun ;)
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
think about your concerns! If you do not want to be touched for example by all means let your instructor know you prefer to be skipped on adjustments, if you have sensitivities to aromas....
questions such as skill levels, past injury concerns, how to use props... all very good questions! In fact, any question you have, is a good question! I would just guide you to call or write ahead because often the teacher is busy preparing right before class.
