What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Evaluate them to see what the client can and can't do and what they feel comfortable with doing. Than getting them to improve and feel more confident about their self.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my personal training certification through ISSA, I've coach coach youth flag football for 9 years and I'm also a high school football coach. Played semi pro football for six years and I attended the 2014 NFL Regional Combine.
How did you get started teaching?
I've got started teaching once I realize that I love to train people and help them reach their goal rather if it's in sports or just trying to live a healthier lifestyle
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with athletes, women that wants to lose weight, elderly clients that needed a personal trainer to help them with certain exercises.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Coaching youth athletes that I have is one thing that I love because I can see their growth and development. Watching them go from not knowing the game or don't have the skills to knowing the game better and seeing their skills develop and getting better is a wonderful feeling because I know that I'm doing something right.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would tell them to look for what credentials they have like certifications, how long have they been doing it for, and go with your gut feeling about them
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How many years of experience do they have, what are your intentions, how can you help me to reach my goal/goals, what should I expect.
