About
I simplify workouts and instruction to make them easier to understand for athletes, and tailor all lessons to the individual needs of the athlete.
No two lessons are necessarily the same, as everyone's needs will vary. We conform to what the athlete needs, rather than asking him to adjust to the instruction.
I love baseball. And I love watching kids love baseball. The game is important, and I love hearing about an athlete's desire to play grow based on getting better from practicing and using our program.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We begin with a 5-minute game of catch, which gives me a better chance to hear his goals and what he wants to learn and get out of training.
We'll take reps. Work hands-on with mechanics and footwork. Sessions conclude by developing an action plan of things to work on before our next lesson.
I also like to take video of our reps, which gives me and the athlete something to review and break down.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been around baseball my entire life, the son of a coach and now a longtime umpire. I utilize only proven workouts and drills to improve endurance and performance.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a range of students between 7 and 17.
