Hello prospective student! I've been playing guitar for almost 20 years. My lessons are based on taking a technical approach with a healthy dose of music theory. Whether you are metal student who has hit a plateau or a beginner who wants a good foundation I can help you get to that next level. I've had the privileges of studying under the late great Danny Vaughn and woody awarding winning musician Than Medlam of the jazz-fusion band Equillibrium, Mario Camarena of Chon, and local guitar instructor Ben Rodriguez. I teach a variety of styles and adapt to students of all skill levels and abilities. As a professional musician with education experience in the classroom and with private students, I am well suited to teaching a variety of students in both piano and voice. For piano students, instead of beginning with teaching students how to read music, I instruct them in creating harmonies and technique.
