Seeing my students develop a love for music and a passion for their instrument drives me as a teacher. As a performer, educator and musician, I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skill sets with developing musicians. In today’s hectic and violent environment, music gives everyone a chance to create a peaceful and loving environment- in my studio, we have a chance to not only escape the outside world, but to develop skills to bring music and joy to ourselves and those around us. It’s a thrill for me to see my current and previous students thrive as professional musicians, performers, educators and church musicians.

After performing professionally with Portland Opera I’ve been teaching classical and music theater vocal instruction in the Damascus, Happy Valley and Gresham areas for over 30 years. As a NATS member my students have advanced to regional and national competitions. My singers are consistently winners in OSAA Vocal and Theatrical competitions as well as participants in youth theater productions. I offer a free get acquainted time before you and I commit to working together.

With a Bachelor of Music in Composition from the prestigious Moscow Conservatory, I bring a unique and comprehensive perspective to piano instruction. I've been teaching students of all ages since my graduation, helping them achieve their musical goals and find joy in their playing. My background as an excellent piano performer gives me a deep understanding of both classical and modern repertoire. This experience allows me to not only teach technique but also to impart a seasoned musician's insight into performance, stage presence, and musical interpretation.
