We are a fully equipped Pilates and Gyrotonic studio, one of very few in Portland!
All sessions are customized to suit each person's needs and goals. Out instructors work with a wide range of people, from younger to older, from elite athletes to those who are recovering from injuries/surgeries.
Unlike other workouts, Pilates and Gyrotonic gives you an opportunity to focus on structual and spinal alignment through exercise, with one-on-on sessions. Elongate the spine and build the muscular stregnth to keep that length!
Both Pilates and Gyrotonic helps with feeling more centered, aligned, and healthy. Vigorous and high impact exercises can be strengthening, but without proper form, there is always the risk of doing more damage than good. To gain potential effectiveness of all other exercises, first we work on healthy movement patterns to be applied in all other aspects of life.
