There are so many forms of adversity that I have overcome in my life that have led to deeper self-awareness, mastery, and resilience that I want nothing more than to support others in connecting to that possibility and practice within themselves.
As it turns out, the great mystical poetic Rumi was right when he wrote, “The wound is where the light shines through.” I have learned this in my own life path, and it brings me great joy to teach my students to connect to this innate capacity for resilience.
The steps toward deepened consciousness, fulfillment, and resilience lie within our everyday experiences. I love to support others in learning how to access the beauty of their own greatness that already lives with us their every day life experience through conscious habit retraining. As Aristotle said, “We are what we repeatedly do; greatness, therefore, is not an act, but a habit.”

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A new student will typically fill out the online questionnaire on my website, and I’ll discuss possible directions to support them in their overall aims, and specific goals on an introductory call. Once we determine their individualized direction and intention, we set up sessions with the appropriate lesson, class, or therapeutic modality to support their needs. Often sessions will occur regularly to build skills, self-awareness, and mastery. Once we accomplish their goals, we reassess direction and either continue, switch direction of focus, or I’ll refer out to another specialist or practitioner if needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m trained in hypnotherapy, NLP, Mental and Emotional Release®️, TRE®️, SSP®️, NSCA-CPT, and I use these tools collectively to bolster “integrative coaching,” which is a method of retraining unconscious habit structures to optimize results. I am in training as a “Brain Health Coach” with the “Amen Clinic,” and I’ll be taking new clients in Late April, 2019.

How did you get started teaching?
I started as a personal trainer in June of 2000, supporting chiropractic clients in building strength, and working out of various gyms. Over time I discovered that teaching the skills I learned personally would require much more than tools of physical fitness well-being.
After about 2 years in the fitness industry, I began studying and incorporating breathing, alignment, and movement principles of yoga, T’ai Chi Chu’an, meditation and mindfulness, and various holistic healing modalities. Through this process I came to discover within myself childhood trauma that was hidden in plain sight as typical ADHD symptoms. This path of self-healing and discovery lead me to not only learn to heal myself and unlock the potential of my brain, mind, and body, but to synthesize a method for helping all types of people with all types of challenges. Studying trauma-informed psycho-neurobiology and integrating it into Somatic (body-based) practices led me to co-create “Thrive NOW/Holistic Fitness Lifestyle.”
I now live my dream of supporting others to optimize their life habits and patterns on all levels of self. I calm this process of practical tools “Everyday Consciousness.” Come join me, and discover your true potential to live with passion, love with depth, and give to others in a way that fulfills you to your core.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with students of all ages and backgrounds. I would say the only prerequisites to working with me are humble open-mindedness, and a desire to learn and grow. All skills can be taught if the steps taken are appropriately small to promote mastery.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My son had a fairly difficult time with school, and after about a year of experimenting with stepping into young adult hood he decided to go back to complete his GED, and not only half each of the four sections the first time he took them, in the process he learned adult habits of self-discipline, self-confidence, and accountability that he is clearly proud of as I can see it in the smile on his face that he showed me the diploma he received last week. I am so deeply proud of him, and he has discovered just a fraction of how great he truly is, and what he is capable of being, doing, and having in this world. This is the type of success I want to see everyone in this world achieve, and it is most of what drives my passion to serve others find their deepest path of growth and potential.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If I had to offer advice to a student looking to hire a teacher with my area of expertise, it would be to get very clear on what it is that you want, why it is important to you you achieve it, and allow that to be your motivation in order to optimize your focus of attention, as well as your results.
