I have been a personal trainer since 2000. I have worked in all aspects of the health industry. From checking guests in at the gym, to 1 to 1 training, custom small group classes to bootcamps. I treat each client as an individual and together we collaborate to make their custom plan. I care about all aspects of their health and wellness which helps so many of my clients, achieve success!
I can train people in their homes, offices or local parks. I can teach custom group classes for the ladies of the neighborhood or your office co-workers to a group of friends. You pick the time, days, location and the style of class. I come teach all the fun! No excuses! I can teach boot camp classes. So from 1 to 1, small group to boot camps, I can do it all!

When I lived in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Janalyn was my personal trainer for years. She got me back into shape after back surgery not once but twice. I also have lupus. She was particularly knowledgeable with exercises that would not hurt my body further and also with nutrition and supplements to help me deal with my illness better. Even though I live in a different state, I still consult with her anytime I need nutritional or exercise advice. You will not find a better trainer.

If possible, I like to meet in person for free and we dicuss their life, goals and schedule. As well to see if we are a right fir for eachother schedule, style and personality wise.
I have been a certified personal trianer for 17 years. I take re-certification courses every two years. As well, I got to events and classes annually to learn more. I am an avide reader of fitness books and articles. I surround myself with other health and wellness individuals to learn from them daily and collaborate with them.
Currently, I price based on what is needed. Therefore, I make a custom package based on what you need and not paying for what you do not.
Here is some guidelines to pricing:
$70/hour if I travel to you, $60/hour if you travel to me, 5-20% off if purchase a package. Current special, unlimited training, nutrition, total access for $500/month. You can't get a trainer 1 to 1 for less than $1k/month and that's just for training. My plan is half off for a limited time. I started in college as I was always interested in health and fitness. I was a cheerleader and swimmer in high school. I went to the gym 5 days a week in college and loved helping others with their health/wellness goals.
I have worked with a wide variety of clients, I believe it is my individual approach that appeals to so many. I have worked with young individauls to seniors, athletes to those who have been injured. I have worked 1 to 1, small groups to large boot camps. I am creative and flexible and like to keep things fun and engaging for my students.
I enjoy going to my crossfit classes because someone looks out for me and my health/fitness. I also enjoy a hot yoga class that balances out my health and fitness. As well, I take walks regularly with my friends and my dogs! I love exercising my dogs!
Do your research. Take your time and find the person who is the best fit for your goals, schedule and personality. Don't be afraid to ask any questions there are no bad questions! Find someone who fits well into your schedule, this has to be as convenenient for you in order to make it a permanenet lifestyle change.
Be hontest. Reflect on why you feel you need a personal trainer. What are your needs, what are you confident in on your own? What are you not confident about? How do you feel a trainer can best help you. What is their availability to you? What can they offer you that is different than others? What is their schedule? What is your process start to maintenance phase?
