Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We would typically have a chat on the phone and decide if my courses or services will meet your goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been trained in several different styles of meditation. I currently teach the "Awakening the Light Body" meditation course. I teach this course twice a year, and each course meets weekly for six months. The course can be taught in a three weekend format, and I am willing to travel to teach the course to a group that you organize and gather.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The cost for individual instruction is $100 per hour.
The weekly cost for the Awakening the Body meditation group is $50/person plus the cost of materials.
The weekend cost for the three-weekend format of "Awakening the Light Body" is dependent on the number of participants and travel costs.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Are you willing to establish a regular and ongoing meditation practice? This means setting aside the time and space for 20-40 minutes per day for meditation.
