Hello. I am Yulia Kreyn, professional piano teacher holding a Master’s Degree in Music with 40 years of teaching experience across 3 countries – Soviet Union, Israel, and the United States. For more than 20 years, I’ve prepared students for the ABRSM international music exams and NYSSMA exams. My students participate in Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center performances yearly. I teach in Brooklyn, NY and Kingston, NY in person, and I’m available for online lessons.

I am a classically trained guitarist, that also loves many other genres of music from pop to blues to rock. Whether you are looking to prepare for nyssma or college, or just want to learn a few chords and play some tunes, I can help make that process as easy and painless as possible. Seeing the progress my students make gives me a great sense of pride. I especially enjoy working with younger students. As a father of 2, seeing the excitement that children get when discovering music for the first time gives me a truly awesome feeling....
