Hello. I am Yulia Kreyn, professional piano teacher holding a Master’s Degree in Music with 40 years of teaching experience across 3 countries – Soviet Union, Israel, and the United States. For more than 20 years, I’ve prepared students for the ABRSM international music exams and NYSSMA exams. My students participate in Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center performances yearly. I teach in Brooklyn, NY and Kingston, NY in person, and I’m available for online lessons.

I am a classically trained guitarist, that also loves many other genres of music from pop to blues to rock. Whether you are looking to prepare for nyssma or college, or just want to learn a few chords and play some tunes, I can help make that process as easy and painless as possible. I combine American/European method books to customize lessons based on student goals. Not every student wants to be a virtuoso and once we explore each student's personal goals for studying piano or voice, I customize a lesson plan to achieve those goals with visible results.
