Hello! I am a dedicated professional who is currently a homemaker. I have a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science in Applied Gerontology. While in my graduate studies, I was a Teaching assistant. In this role, I lead a gerontology 101 course teaching the basics of the study of aging. I greatly appreciate a close relationship with my students. Learning to mold their studies to their strengths and personal needs is a passion. We also offer various subject tutoring -- math, science, and history just to name a few! Students will learn the material and study skills. Learning and teaching is our passion! I have always been passionate about empowering children to achieve their full potential. I began tutoring students as a volunteer in high school. I attended Boston College and continued volunteering with youths in educational settings. I have over fifteen years of professional experience working with students from diverse backgrounds, including those with learning disabilities, those performing below grade level, English language learners, those on par with their peers, and gifted students. I am Russian speaking teacher with over 30 years of experience tutoring math of all levels. I speak limited English as well. I would teach in Russian. I offer online lessons as well as in-person lessons. They can be done at the library in Westminster MD. Teaching is my passion, I love seeing kids become successful with learning.
