Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First thing first we discuss where you want to end up with your bowling. Do you want to score higher every game are you wanting to improve your approach, etc.. This helps build a map of what you really want to focus on and this builds your personal practice sheet that you will use when we are not working together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've started blowing when I was 5 years old and never looked back. I'm a USBC Level 1 certified coach which gives me the knowledge and background to help you improve your game. When I'm not working my 8-5 job in IT I'm working part time at a pro shop helping with everything you can imagine.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$20 an hour. That is my full attention with you and the Map for practice that we will build the first time we meet.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching special needs kids how to bowl when I was a teenager and have been doing it off and on ever since.
What types of students have you worked with?
Girls and boys young and old. You are never too young or old to improve your game!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who is passionate about bowling. These are the people who love to share what they know and that makes for a better experience all around.
