Howdy! I am a licensed music educator in Ohio, where I have taught music for now 6 years! I am currently a middle school band teacher so I have lots of great tips and tricks for beginner students as well as more advanced advice for students looking for a challenge on just about every instrument. My philosophy of teaching is simple: let’s have FUN. Music at its core is supposed to be enjoyable, so I strive to make every lesson engaging and dynamic and full of the magic that lives in the spirit of music. Once we find that magic together, I promise your musicianship will soar!

I am a 58 year old musician who started playing at 8 years old. I have toured professionally all over the United States and Canada, playing guitar, keyboards, bass, and vocals. It would be a pleasure to share my real world experience with you and get you on the road to your journey!

Our approach to teaching is non-traditional. We focus on the students wants and needs. All lessons are taught through songs, while addressing proper technique. Music should be fun and that's most important, especially in the early stages. We enjoy watching students development and grow! It’s very satisfying to watch a musician play and know somewhere in there, we had a hand at helping making them great!
