Colton Teal Baseball And Strength/Conditioning
About
Hello!
My name is Colton Teal and I am a baseball instructor who has a background in strength and coniditioning. In college, I played NCAA Division I baseball at the University of North Alabama where I was a pitcher.
Now, I live in Spring Hill, TN, and love training athletes. My specialities are pitching lessons, strength programs, and mobility programs.
I love to help youth athletes and I am looking forward to helping you!
Message me if you want to see a sample of my work. Whether that be training programs, in-person lessons, or athletic help in general.
Working with athletes has become a career of mine. I am currently pursuing a law degree so I can one day become a sports agent. In the mean time, I love working with athletes on a one on one level.
Watching athletes grow and gain abilities is an amazing gift. Once you both see that one subtle improvement, it makes you want to work that much harder to get the next. Though it's not always easy to get better, it is fruitful.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first process I go through is screening the athlete. Every athlete is different, and they deserve to be addressed as such. This typical screening will address mobility and athletic deficiencies, which we will highlight throughout the program.
The next stage is programming. Here, the athlete will receive his workout, mobility, and throwing routines. This, once again, will vary upon the athlete and their goals.
Finally, the last stage is implementation. I will implement the exercises that are set for screening, but some people pick up drills, some do not. It is best to watch throughout the implementation phase, so if something does not click or work properly, we can change it there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a large background as a former NCAA Division I athlete, trainer, and certified in baseball lessons/tech.
I played collegiate baseball as a pitcher at the University of North Alabama.
I since have trained many athletes (mainly in college but some youth) for strength, mobility, and throwing programs.
Lastly, I have a RAPSODO Pitching certification that enables me to properly use baseball technology and train atheltes efficiently.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Variable based on the athlete and their needs
How did you get started teaching?
I have always wanted to coach, but rarely had the time to! I started giving lessons my freshman year of college, and I am hoping to add more lessons moving forward.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages. All abilities. From athletes throwing in the 50s to athletes throwing in the 90s
