Emily C. says, "My son has been taking one-on-one lessons with Cameron and uses the cages for batting practice. The entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Cameron has been able to train my son at a more advanced level than we’ve found anywhere else. He trains my son to his specific needs as an individual player. The lessons are conducted in a way that makes the most of the time we book. My son leaves the lesson with an action plan to implement the new skills during games, which has proven extremely helpful. Cameron is very resourceful and is extremely generous with his knowledge of the path a youth player should take based on their goals. It’s obvious he genuinely cares for his students and the game itself. Highly recommended. " Read more

Liam M. says, "I've been practicing boxing with Coach Tino and I can feel myself learning and growing physically and mentally. He will work with you at your pace but pushes you to reach that next step. Every practice I can do a little more than the last and I learn something new to incorporate every time. Coach Tino lives by his message of perfect practice = perfect performance and wants you to achieve that as well. If you want to get in shape or build confidence, it may not be easy at first but you'll start to see the results if you stick with it. Great guy, great program!" Read more

As a four year, Division 1 student athlete and having played 10 years of professional baseball with the Seattle Mariners, international pro leagues, and winter ball leagues in various countries, I have been blessed to have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and understanding for the game of baseball. More importantly how to prepare and train to compete at a high level. Physical training and skill training are most effective when we understand how to slow the game down through elite level mental processes. We will learn how to, “Work the Funnel”, a comprehensive guide leading us to more consistency in our performance. J band routine Med ball

Will M. says, "Kyle worked with our oldest son (10yo) doing strength, conditioning, and agility with a focus on baseball and pitching. Kyle was always professional, great communication, and worked great with our oldest son. Our son definitely gained strength, and speed, and most importantly a better understanding of his body, while working with Kyle. All done in a very safe and healthy approach for a kid that was 10. Miss working with kyle when he moved. " Read more

Your Baseball Training questions, answered

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Lessons.

How much do private baseball lessons cost?

Private baseball lessons cost $50 to $75 per 30-minute lesson and $80 to $140 per 1-hour lesson. The price depends on your location, the instructor's experience and reputation, the student's age, and whether the lesson includes extras like a video analysis of the player's performance.

Many coaches offer lower prices per lesson if you purchase a package that includes 6 or 10 lessons. The average package prices are:

  • 6 pack of 30-minute lessons: $270 – $420
  • 6 pack of 1-hour lessons: $450 – $720
  • 10 pack of 30-minute lessons: $400 – $600
  • 10 pack of 1-hour lessons: $700 – $1,100

Are private baseball lessons worth it?

Private baseball lessons may be worth it if your child currently plays the sport, loves it, and has expressed an interest in improving their skills and performance. Private lessons can help your child advance their skills, develop good habits, and avoid forming bad habits.

Motivation and a drive to improve are key factors in whether or not the lessons will actually help your child. It's important for your child to practice in between private lessons.

Children who receive private baseball lessons are usually more likely to advance to playing at higher levels than children who only receive group coaching during regular team practice. However private lessons don't guarantee your child will play collegiate or professional baseball.

What is the difference between private and semi-private baseball lessons?

In a private baseball lesson, the athlete trains one-on-one with an instructor who tailors the lesson specifically to their needs and skill level. In a semi-private lesson, two athletes work together with one instructor. Semi-private lessons, also called partner lessons, typically cost 10% to 20% less than private lessons. However, because the trainer's attention is divided between the two athletes, the athletes don't get the same level of individualized instruction as they would in a private lesson.

What age should you start pitching lessons?

Baseball instructors generally recommend that children start pitching lessons at around 8 to 12 years old, though there are no age requirements or exact rules. Learning fundamental pitching skills early on can help your child avoid developing bad habits that will be difficult for them to break later.

However, your child should not start taking pitching lessons until they are comfortable throwing the ball as well as catching the ball one-handed.

Coach Tadeo was amazing with my daughter. Very patient, yet kept her focused and made the most of the time I had paid for. After just one session her softball coach noticed an astounding difference in her skill and technique. Lessons with Tadeo are worth every penny. I have commited to having my daughter attend lessons every other week. She's improving and enjoying it. Not to mention, it's done wonders for her confidence level.
