I retired five years ago as a full time art teacher in the Fort Worth I.S.D. where I was employed for 17 years. Before I was a teacher, I worked as a graphic artist for 20 years. I have a Bachelor of Fine Art’s degree from U.T.A. & a Master of Liberal Art’s from T.C.U. My love of Art is a passion that I will always enjoy & I get so much enjoyment from inspiring others in my passion. Anybody can learn how to draw or paint. Internationally recognized watercolor artist/teacher. I have taken students to France and Croatia for one and two week workshops. I have been teaching since 1991. I love the medium of watercolor, although it is the hardest medium to learn. I have won the Strathmore International Card Competition, and numerous local contests. I am calm and patient and a good listener. I understand the the elements of art and design and the technique of acrylic and watercolor painting. I can teach drawing as well. I use short fun activities to introduce my students to color, line, shape, value before taking on a finished painting. I love to teach art and meet knew people.

I am a multidisciplinary artist and art educator serving the Fort Worth area. I have been teaching high school art for 3 years, 2 of which have been for Advanced Placement Art and Design with College Board. My disciplines include drawing, painting and ceramic arts. My BFA was acquired in 2020 from UT Arlington. I am open to teaching any age range from 10 years to 100 years, though I primarily teach 14-18 year olds. My home studio can accommodate 2 students at a time for 2D media and 2 students at a time for clay projects. Thank you for your consideration!

I have been sewing, designing since I was 14 years old. I am passionate about creating beauty in the world with my arts & crafts. I sew, paint, sculpture, design and everything else. Every night, I dream up projects and every day, I design the projects and complete them. I would love to teach others who have a passion for exotic, unusual arts & crafts. My work is free spirit, impulsive and original. They are pieces of my dreams. At night I dream up unusual arts & crafts and each day I work towards bringing them to fruition.
