With 20 years of experience with sewing all kinds of projects. I can instruct new sewists in everything from machine operation, pattern reading, pattern hacking, drafting basic patterns and many types of sewing techniques. I can instruct in the use of basic sewing machines and sergers. I am well versed in sergers and coverstitch machines. I teach one on one, out of my home.
I love sewing, I sew all my clothing, kids clothings and many of the commisions I take on. I sell at a local farmers market. I sell ready to wear plus size clothing and just have a good time stitching all the stuff together! I am also Bipolar and ADHD/Austistic, sewing is part of my independence and I appreciate teaching the skills I have learned onto to others so they can create the things they dream up!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
we start with the basics. Whether that is the basics with the sewing machine, or basics with actual sewing techniques we will make sure you have a solid foundation to get your started.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 23 years sewing experience. I have also worked for Husquvarna viking and sold their high end machines. I have experience making clothes from scratch, pattern hacking, Altering and mending. I also have extensive experience with Sergers and Coverstitch machines.
