About this pro

Jesch Studios was founded in 2013 with the mission to improve the quality of life through musical education. Today, we have three teachers. Two located in Orange, CA and one located in Austin TX. Since our studio crosses state lines, we utilize the international standards of the Royal Conservatory of Music.

This program allows us to maintain high standards in our students' progress, especially in the areas of Musicianship and Sight Reading, which is essential in the growth of any musician.

Our studio works with children as well as adults, and have maintained this high standard with the students in our studio since its conception. Please feel free to visit our website,, Facebook, and Yelp pages. I look forward to teaching you or your child very soon!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

If the student is new to the instrument, there is a starting procedure that introduces the student to the instrument, that focuses on proper posture and pattern recognition.

If the student has taken lessons before, I evaluate their level in accordance with studio standards and go from there. Often, we utilize the curriculum the student had previously to ensure any holes in their education are filled before transferring them to the studio curriculum.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Travelling to the student: 30 Mins - $150; 1 hr - $250 per month

Online students: 30 Mins - $100 per month; 1 hr - $200 per month

How did you get started teaching?

I started teaching at a piano studio near my house just after I graduated High School. Five years later, I opened my own studio, gaining students primarily through a combination of my piano sales business and word of mouth.

What types of students have you worked with?

I am especially good with students who have learning obstacles such as ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Autism. However, I will say that if your child has any of these, they will benefit more from in-person classes rather than online classes.
