I work with folks in recovery from addiction and those dealing with mental illness and disabilities. I teach private lessons or private group training.
The biggest takeaway clients experience is self-confidence and how we work together to keep it positive and rewarding!
Brittany is truly one in a million - a diamond in the rough. She has more medical, fitness and nutrition knowledge than Wikipedia! She's personable, engaging, caring, and TOUGH AS NAILS. She knows how to get the results you want and won't allow you to slack on your goals. She's not your average trainer that just shows up and does her job and leaves. She follows up and checks in with you on her own time when she doesn't have to. Brittany actually CARES about her clients' overall well-being and that is a rare and precious find. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for fitness guidance - whether you're bulking up for competition, toning up for bikini season, or getting your body moving to destress and unwind. You can't go wrong with Brittany. It's that simple.
I meet with them before we start to make sure we are a great fit. We go over their short-term and long-term goals for fitness and in life. We start with an assessment and work into sessions from there!
I've been lifting and playing serious sports since I were a teenager. I have an educational background in pharmaceuticals and a certification as a personal trainer, weight management specialist and a functional movement specialist. I am also a hybrid recovery coach working with people recovering from any addiction. I specialize in behavioral health and mental health within the recovery community.
I charge $85/session, and I work off of packages for 10, 15, 20 and 30 sessions a piece.
This is a long story, but I used to struggle with alcohol and drugs. I was afraid of going to treatment for my struggles so I turned to fitness and weightlifting as my detox center. From there, it became my second home, my church and my family. If I ever felt the need to use, I went to the gym. After losing my job last spring, I decided to pursue my passion and turn it into a business. It's been one heck of a ride, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity!
