About
The ability to be present and compassionate each moment requires skills that are inherent to you. Although these can be taught, it is spectacular to access them on your own. I feel that is my gift and privilege to help guide the student to their own inner knowing. Be you, the best you as much as you can. Be graceful when you cannot.
It's an absolute joy and privilege to assist students to their best performance. I can appreciate the growing process of becoming a mindful person. Being patient with it and with ourselves is the only way.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
From the beginning the student/client is shown compassion and kindness for taking this huge step in their lives. I ask a couple of questions that allows me to get to know the student better. I want to know who you are, but I don't rush it. For example, what is rising up inside of you today? How have you been with this feeling or situation? Carefully and slowly I teach the beginning steps of being mindful while we are together. You are encouraged to practice as you move about your day and the remaining week.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently, I'm doctoral candidate and my research is a mindfulness based program as intervention to increase well-being and the ability to cope with stressors. I am a veteran K-12 teacher. I have taught every level of traditional school: elementary PE and social emotional learning, middle school coaching and Language Arts, and high school English with a variety of coaching responsibilities.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
