CAN DO Yoga, Life Coaching & Bodywork
About
I am a multi-certified, Iyengar Yoga instructor with over 25 years experience. I have worked with Mr BKS Iyengar and his daughter, Geeta, in Puna, India to hone my ability to work with students that have specific medical issues and physical injuries. I have also worked as a social worker at Shoal Creek Hospital and Dell Children's Hospital. Additionally, I am a life coach and massage therapist of over 25 years.
All classes I offer are limited to six students. My desire is to provide students with a semi-private environment where there is room to ask questions and where adjustments and redirection are always a part of the class tapestry.
I LOVE sharing my experience, strength and hope in regards to self-care. I enjoy collaborating with students and respect that together we will learn and grow.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Ideally a new student and I walk through an intake process by phone or we meet briefly before a student's first class. This intake process gives us a chance to get to know one another, identify medical conditions and/or injuries, and determine initial goals and desires.

I am a multi-certified, Iyengar yoga instructor with over 25 years experience. Shorty after graduating from the University of Texas, I worked as a therapist at Shoal Creek Hospital offering DBT, CBT, Yoga and meditation groups. Most recently, I have held groups at Dell Children's Hospital. In conjunction, for over 27 years, I have been the sole owner and CEO of CAN DO Yoga, Life Coaching and Bodywork, in Austin, Texas and Northern California. I am also a myofascial bodyworker of 28 years and a spiritual-emotional, life coach.
