I am a multi-certified, Iyengar Yoga instructor with over 25 years experience. I have worked with Mr BKS Iyengar and his daughter, Geeta, in Puna, India to hone my ability to work with students that have specific medical issues and physical injuries. I have also worked as a social worker at Shoal Creek Hospital and Dell Children's Hospital. Additionally, I am a life coach and massage therapist of over 25 years.
All classes I offer are limited to six students. My desire is to provide students with a semi-private environment where there is room to ask questions and where adjustments and redirection are always a part of the class tapestry.
I LOVE sharing my experience, strength and hope in regards to self-care. I enjoy collaborating with students and respect that together we will learn and grow.

Ideally a new student and I walk through an intake process by phone or we meet briefly before a student's first class. This intake process gives us a chance to get to know one another, identify medical conditions and/or injuries, and determine initial goals and desires.

Private Yoga Sessions, & Life Coaching and Bodywork Sessions:
I started teaching when my first Iyengar Yoga teacher insisted I go through the initial, three year, certification process. I will never regret that decision. What a life changer!
I work with young, energetic teenagers, preganant women, middle age students that want to love and care for their aging and sometimes injured bodies, mental health patients, and older, refined students. My eldest student is 90-years-old!
Skiing in Taos, New Mexico with my husband and children.
