I earned my 200hr yoga teaching certification August 2020. This August 2021, I completed my 300hr yoga training. In this most recent training I was exposed to the Chakras, Mudras, Breathing techniques, sound therapy, mediation, history and time line of those who inflused yoga, sanskrit, and working with special populations such as kids yoga and elderly.
To ensure my exitment as a yoga teacher and my clients' / students' expections; metal, physical, and spirtiual needs are fulfilled I am willing to travel as far DFW metropaulatin area.
I also offer one on one and group session. I will travel to clients up to 25 miles. I am an employee at crunch fitness and will offer you a one session as my guest. Here we can use the facilities and gain more knowledge for your support plan. My studio / home is on the Brazos river. I live and teach here in an old water silo, built into a 3 story 5 room livable treehouse. Silo Yoga on the Brazos, and is a unique, serine, peaceful atmosphere, (see photos). I encourage clients to spend 10 - 30 minutes with some type meditation. Some options are: guided by me with visual storytelling, movement meditation, relaxing in one of the hammocks, silent, sound healing... and more.
On site I offer outdoor and indoor sessions. Healing therapy including trauma healing sessions. I also offer heated yoga in an add on room. You will explore / be exposed to new practices expanding body and minds' abilty to resote and heal itself. As your yoga guide / wellness champion, Safety First! Meeting clients where they are physically and mentally. I gaurentee each lesson growth physically / mentally / spiritually. further session I have a passion for social emotional reflection/ learning. I like to deticate down time when needed to open up and allow clients to share and release any recent or past pain.
Yoga Nidra and Restorative poses I recently have brought into my own practice, and look forward to expanding my teaching experience with adding resorative postures to my lessons.
My pasasion and mission is to expose others to the beleieve and practices of yoga/ The physical peice is only a portion of Yoga. Yoga in all its aspectx is meant to bring awareness ones' self leaving the whole body functionong beeter having alignment with body, mind, and spirit.

Rate / pace of lesson. The cues were clear and concise.
First I have them tell me of any injuries or major surgeries thay have had.
I ask how long they have been practices and if they prefer one type of yoga over others. Adding if they prefer repition or for me to switch it up.
Through out workling with clients / students I renforce "this is your practice". I like to ask their idea of what yoga is, and I may share any knowledge if some misbelieves are shared.
I like to begin reviewing or imtroducing props as well where they can be found, or that they can show me 5 if they need anything through out our practice.
I also model safety while explaining how important it is for spinal alingment and proper weight distribution as to not cause injuries or pain.
Have fun, make it personal, and allow for feed so I can meet their expectations.

I was burned out after teaching special education for 10 years.
I found, Yoga with Adriane on You Tube and began doing a daily practice following her channel. After 1 year, I enrolled in the 200hr yoga teacher training. I first just wanted to expand my own practice and learn more about yoga history and the poses.
