About this pro

I have been sewing for profit since I was 7 years old. My father was a tailor for entertainers in California, he taught me so that I could carry on the legacy and do what I can to keep a dying art alive. I have lots of happy customers and stand by my work.

You can see my designs at where you can read about the curriculum and see some designs by me and my students.

During these stressful times I believe that sewing is keeping me sane. I have made and donated over two thousand mask which were not available to the public when the pandemic first started.

I will be offering virtual classes until this is over.

I do charge a 20 dollar cancellation fee if you cancel or do not show which must be paid by zelle or paypal before I will schedule again

I love breathing life into fabrics and showing others how to revive old into new. Being full figured it is hard to find nice things in beautiful textiles that fit. When you love the finished product I know I have done my job well.

I also sew for people and teach at JoAnns Fabrics in Plano

Tell me what you need so I can give you an accurate quote.

Kim is an amazing teacher. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient. She made learning fun.

  • Simone Pizzuti

Had my first lesson with Kim and I cannot wait to keep learning from her.

  • Charles Perry

I was quite intimidated with the whole notion of learning to sew. Kim was amazing. She was able to accommodate me fairly quickly. She asked me a few questions about what I had done, when I explained that I had figured out how to put thread on the bobbin, she asked me to do that. She then went through threading the machine. I actually did some stitching on my first lesson. I'm looking forward to my homework and my next lesson. Kim is going to teach me to sew!

Kim was very knowledgeable and super helpful! She’s also very sweet and willing to help perfect your project to match your vision. I would 100% recommend for all your pattern and sewing needs!
