My personal practice is 7 years old, and I've been teaching for 1 year. No matter the yoga style, I encourage slower paced and deliberate movement in asana practice where breath and alignment are not compromised.
I'm open to pushing the boundaries of a traditional yoga practice. I especially like to incorporate cardio, dynamic movement and hand weights for students who desire a more active practice or want to change up their standard fitness routine.
A very rewarding experience. Iris knows when to challenge the body and how to ease the mind.

I came to yoga in 2012 as part of my fitness and weight loss journey, taking classes at Dallas area studios--most notably at Gaia Flow. In 2014, I began supplementing my group classes with a consistent daily home yoga practice and self-study. I earned my RYT 200 in 2017.
I've worked with students at their first yoga class, beginners, and intermediate students. I love introducing people to yoga for the first time and working with beginners.
