About this pro

Football, basketball, and bowling. I train in all football skill positions. Footwork, breaking on the ball, throwing the ball with good arm motion and properly catching the ball at the right point. Yes, hand eye coordination needs to be learned to catch the ball at the right point depending on your position. Speed training is also a skill that needs to be learned by all positions.  Learning how to read the offense and defense is key to excelling and being the best at your position.

Basketball. 1, 2, and 3 are the positions that I coach. Ball skills, footwork, and how to approach the game both on defense and offense.  Training yourself to take good jump shots and knowing how to finish off the play when playing the dribble and drive game. Let's learn it all! Learning your role is key to being successful.

If you are a beginner bowler and you really want to learn the sport, let's get you bowling in a fun focused manner to learn all the wonderful nuances of your favorite pastime. If you just need a hobby or want to learn something new, this is the time to start and I would love the opportunity teach you!

I want to focus on your entire approach, finish, and teach you about the bowling ball and how it effects the lane and effects you as a bowler. Many teachers may want to change everything about what you currently do, I want you to learn about bowling so you know what you want to change so we are focused on the same thing for the right reasons to increase your bowling knowledge and scores.

I love to see the enjoyment that progress bring!  Realizing that you are capable of being better and excelling makes all the difference!

Julian is an Excellent coach,Very professional He Took time out to explain the details to my son about basketball, ball control, timing, release ,I was amazed at what he taught my son in the time he spent with him,I’m about to start bowling lessons myself and with Julian coaching me I know he’ll show me the right way to bowl,if you want a coach that’s professional and detailed and passionate about his craft then you’ve found the right coach with Julian hands down!!!

He is excellent at evaluating where your child is and then determining a path to get them to their goal. He is honest when it is time to be, and he is very fair as well. I hired him for Basketball for my 13 year old son and he is helping him understand what it will take to get him where he needs to be much better than I could myself.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

To learn how to do anything, you need to have a goal and steps to accomplish that goal. I will teach you about your environment, and yes, there are different environments, while also teaching you how to use the environment to your advantage. I want to give up the tools that will help you know that you can, rather than merely thinking you can.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am self taught and learned a ton from listening to others and incorporating what I chose to into my own game. The game has changed drastically. Much of what is being taught by instructors is based on an archaic method that doesn't necessarily fit your game and what you are good at doing on the lanes. There are many fundamentals that have not changed, but knowing what you need for your game is the key. Knowing what to practice, and how to practice it makes all the difference in the world. If you practice poor habits, you are destined to fall short of your goal. You may have already heard it or been taught something that is negatively effecting the progression of your skills. It's time to change that. Let's get started today!

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Standard price is $40 for a 2 hour session.

What types of students have you worked with?

All types.  I know my limitations, and will be quick to tell you when I have taught you all that I can or that I am unqualified. Until that time, I expect to see progress every time we meet.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Everyone has his or her own teaching method. Find someone that suites you, someone you can have fun with and enjoy learning from. If you haven't seen improvement after your first lesson, move on.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What is your goal?

What is your time frame to accomplish that goal?

Does your teacher want to get paid, or see you succeed?
