About this pro

I speak to everyone before making an appointment to ensure I'm the best fit for what that individual wants to accomplish. If I do not exceed your expectations, then I have failed you.  I take it personally when I'm not able to help someone accomplish his or her goals.  At the same time, as I give my best, I expect the same from you.

Your progress is my accomplishment.

Public Speaking Shannon thank you so much for coaching and enhancing my ability to speak at my comfort zone. Shannon ask questions and was very respectfully, willingness to jump in to help by having a conversation and being a good listener. How you offer your assistance and the way you address the purpose for the wedding toast. You let me know that your were able to assist me and not try to sale me and was very efficient. You really are very helpful to make me feel very confident on what and how to deliver my speech and not being so lengthy. I will call on you again. You are the Best!!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

To learn how to do anything, you need to have a goal and steps to accomplish that goal. I will teach you about your environment, and yes, there are different environments, while also teaching you how to use the environment to your advantage. I want to give you the tools that will help you know that you can, rather than merely thinking you can.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am self taught and learned a ton from listening to others and incorporating what I chose to into my own game. The game has changed drastically. Much of what is being taught by instructors is based on an archaic method that doesn't necessarily fit your game and what you are good at doing. There are many fundamentals that have not changed, but knowing what you need for your game is the key. Knowing what to practice, and how to practice it makes all the difference in the world. If you practice poor habits, you are destined to fall short of your goal. You may have already heard it or been taught something that is negatively effecting the progression of your skills. It's time to change that. Let's get started today!

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

What works for your needs should be discussed.  Everyone is not capable of the same expenses.  As I want to be treated fairly, I want you to be treated fairly and get more than what your are paying for.

How did you get started teaching?

I started teaching personal training and speech classes and enjoyed it.  The success that those students had propelled me to want to help more people however I could.

What types of students have you worked with?

All types.  I know my limitations, and will be quick to tell you when I have taught you all that I can or that I am unqualified. Until that time, I expect to see progress every time we meet.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Everyone has his or her own teaching method. Find someone that suites you, someone you can have fun with and enjoy learning from. If you haven't seen improvement after your first lesson, move on.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What is your goal?

What is your time frame to accomplish that goal?

Does your teacher want to get paid, or see you succeed?
